When choosing sites, people look at the facilities, location etc. What makes this site is the people who run it. Jan and Beer, are two of the nicest people we have met camping, and work hard to make a stay on their site a treat.
It's little things that make it work. Bread for example ; Jan visits you and takes orders; in the morning it's all there.
The campsite is a field behind the two Gites, which has plenty of space for the six units, electricity is there, and there is a small pool.
The toilet block is small, but we never had to wait ; there are 3 showers, 2 toilets & a washing area. There isn't a washing machine so we took our clothes into Melle (Jan and Beer did offer to wash them for us).
Twice a week Beer cooks a meal and campers are invited ; this can be a simple meal or a full scoff.
Our two teens didn't miss the water slides and Discos ; if you want that this isn't it ; but if you want peace and quiet in a great environment with excellent hosts, it's very hard to beat.
