Reviews Campsite International du Lac Bleu*****

11/09/2009 We have been 3 times to this campsite and we will return again. It is a very friendly site - a mixture of nationalities. My 3 children loved playing football alongside French, Dutch and English children on the astropitch. My 6 year old enjoyed herself with the kids club and the Dutch animators are very good at speaking in English. The lake is safe for children and is ideal for swimming or for playing with inflatables (at the end of the lake with wind blowing them back on shore). There is a pool - but hey with the lake so warm we haven't used it. Good view from the shore of the parapenters throwing themselves of the mountains!! The sanitary blocks are have the usual facilities and are clean. There are lots of local villages nearby with supermarkets and markets. The site is in an ideal location for visits to Annecy, Chamonix and Switzerland.

07/06/2008 we have stayed on this camp site many times usually out side of peak times .we have always found the owners and staff to be very good.If there are any problems with the toilets they are normaly caused by people who do not care about other peoples property.

27/08/2007 We stayed here in august 2007, fine location, near a lake. Camping is located on the quiet side of the lake. When you get closer to Annecy it gets more and more busy. Showers were fine, toilets not always clean and fresh. Staff is friendly. Camping store offers everything you need. Big supermarket is a 7 minute drive away. Dogs are very welcome on the camping. Dogs can swim in the lake of the camping as well in the morning and evening. Even in the afternoon as long as you dont bother the other guests. Surroundings is beautiful!

30/08/2007 We were on this camping for 3 weeks, the worst camping ever. Toilets were only cleaned with a firehose. No shelf in the shower to put your things on. Powerfailure a few times a day. We couldn't sleep for 2 nights due to 3 french boys in the tent next to us that stayed for 3 days. There was no security at night. We were located in the second part of the camping, which was bought later. So not on the lake!! You wont be bothered from the busy road here though. Only 1 water facility for a large part of the camping. We will definitely not be going back here ever!

29/08/2007 We were here half of august with 2 people and had a great vacation! We stayed in a 2/3 persons apartment. It was clean and neat, and the showers were lovely! (non-stop warm water). Balcony was big and sheltered, so you could sit outside always. The camping staff was very friendly, english was no problem at all. The camping store had plenty of stock. The silverware was pretty dirty so we bought our own. We were glad we brought our own blankets, their goat blankets were almost ancient. Shame the camping was separated into two parts, so you had to walk a long way to even get to the other side. But we had a super vacation, definitely worth doing again.
