Bit of a long hike for us - coming from the north east of england but well worth it - thinking of going back in 2010. Kids loved the aquapark and the beach which was really well observed by lifeguards (who had their certificates on show in the window of their beach hut for all to see - very reassuring). Takeaway good and quite good value for money in comparison to local traders. Lots of youngsters working there obviously summer jobs, but courteous. Efficient reception staff who can speak english. I would say campers were 80% Dutch - lovely people, friendly and helpful. Firework display on the site was nice to watch. Hubby went fishing which was a bit of a flop and even went to the nearby river to try his luck. Small shop on site - sells bread and a few different patisseries, but supermarkets very handy and within walking distance of the camp site. All in all, a good holiday, plenty of sunshine.
