11/07/2012 It has what people want on holiday, blue sky, hot sunshine, guaranteed. You have the long street parallel with the beach, with all the shops, tavernas and entertainment. The sea is like bathwater, (warm). The Greeks are nice people, wanting to please, (not every Greek) but hey. It is very cheap in my opinion. 3 course meal 9 euro! Cheap local buses.

08/12/2007 Aghia Marina is originally a very small village. But you don't notice that anymore. The "new" Aghia Marina is by the road to the west. You have to be very carefull crossing the street. Not nice with children. The bus to Chania? If you are in luck then yo

19/09/2007 Aghia Marina is a small village with lots of little shops on the street. And lots of apartments/hotels. Besides that, there isn't much to do, but its a nice starting point for West-Crete. From Aghia Marina you can make nice excursions and the bus for Gani
