11/03/2012 /Aquaworld is a privately build aquarium and reptile garden that was built in 1995.
They ask a small entrancefee for which you'll become a member and can come again and again during your holiday and the next one in the same season from the 1st of April till the 31st of October.
You can if wanted handle some of the reptiles yourself under supervision of one the staff and get your picture taken with one of the kids.
They've got 15 aquariums with most of the local species and some not so local in it, for example an alligatorgarfish the biggest sweetwaterfish in the world. Stephania a blind seaturtle who's been in their care for over 10 years.
Also a great preview if you decide to go snorkling or diving in the area, John McLaren, the owner, can tell you where to find the best spots for that.
A great little place where you can spend a lot of time being astonished by nature upclose, exotic and local.
