Hotel is fine, a lot of varied food. Clean rooms, friendly staff, entertainment is very good, they're from Holland and Belgium. They work very hard which isn't always appreciated. They deserve a pat on the back once in a while. One of the better hotels we had on our holidays, it's a 2 story building.
We stayed at hotel Magda. A great hotel. A great location with cosy restaurants, bars and beaches. Close to the centre (500 metres). A central location between Chersonnissos and Heraklion. A great place to go shopping and for excursions. A bus stop nearby (a 10 minute walk). There's a bus going every 30 minutes. Excellent service and kind personnel. A great entertainment team. They spoke French most of the time. A classy hotel for young and old. Definitely worth 4 stars. I can recommend it!
We stayed at this place and we loved this hotel. A beautiful hotel. A poor location. Not much to do in Gouves, so we went to Chersonissos at a 10 kilometres distance. Taking a cab: 15 euros. There was this bus connection. The bus stopped driving around 23:00 o'clock. An excellent hotel. We should have stayed at a hotel in Chersonissos. I didn't like Gouves. A small and dull place.
A nice hotel. The best hotel in the area. Good rooms. Good cleaning. Good dinner, little variation. It smelled like a sewer at the pool. Not much to do in the area. Some nice places in Crete! I can recommend hiring a car.
A lovely hotel with very friendly personnel. Worth its 4 stars.
