01/10/2011 Just got back from our ' first time ' pilot's Villas. We had chosen the apartments because of the good reviews on this website and it's all fulfilled. Have had a great holiday! Yiorgos and the whole family are extremely hospitable, helpful, warm and cosy. We have really nice and interesting talks at the bar. In addition, the apartments are very clean, groomed, large (we had with 2 persons a maisonnette) and with complete furnishings. The pool is sufficiently large and not too busy because the small-scale construction. Also nice that air beds and e.g.. beachball-kits that you can use. In short: we will definitely be back! As regards the environment: Koutouloufari, Piskopiano and old Hersonissos also are amiable towns with small, cosy streets. You can eat fine here. We have very good eaten at Elisavet (Fez) and the best of 24 at Taverna (Koutouloufari).

21/09/2011 Nowhere will you find the hospitality and conviviality as pilot's Villas. The owner (Yiorgios) is awesome and is always ready for you. The beds are good, which is rare on Crete. There is a lovely swimming pool and every now and then there is a BBQ was organized in which the mother of the owner the most delicious moussaka for the guests. The entire family of Yiorgios is involved in the complex and the guests. Because there are 22 apartments is not massively and you also never early morning your towel on a bed. There is always still place. You can via tour operator books, but also directly at them itself. His father is Yiorgios or than you, if you want to retrieve from the airport. What a service!!! If you like, you can lookup the hustle and bustle of Hersonissos, but if you're in Koutouloufari, you sit quietly. We find it fun to go to another holiday destination each year, but we will certainly still come back here!

02/09/2011 Have just returned from a wonderful vacation in villas pilots. We had a spacious maissonette apartment living downstairs and a giant bedroom upstairs. Everything is new and luxuriously decorated marble with stainless steel. The pool is great and so clean that it almost seems or you're on a tropical island. Have no pests also seen outside by the pool. The owner and his mother are so sweet and are doing everything to you to make sense. Can't say that it was delicious. You can eat at the restaurants In koutouloufari also there are the people very friendly and cordial. For 15 to 20 euros you have a three course menu with wine carafes everything, sometimes you just you for that money you pubic so delicious food. In short, a nice clean complex that I can certainly recommend. yiorgos and katherine thanks. We’ll certainly come back again.

23/08/2011 We enjoyed a super stay in pilot's Villas. It is a small apartment complex is clean, comfortable and if you're in your apartment is then you have no burden of noise or sound. The beds are delicious. There is very cleaned regularly, the towels are often replaced and also bed linen regularly. The pool is lovely, spacious and clean, with enough sun loungers for everyone. There is a bar where you various drinks, fresh orange juice, Greek iced coffee, milkshakes, ice cream, water and can order a sandwich. The owner and her son (Katharina & Yiorgos) are very friendly, helpful and always in for a chat and a joke. The apartment complex is situated on a quiet street at the edge of Koutouloufari and Piskopiano. In these villages there are several supermarkets, shops and plenty of restaurants (restaurant Elisavet) where you can eat, within walking distance. We would certainly still book a holiday to this accommodation!

29/06/2011 Just as you read in all the reviews this is the place to have a great holiday. We arrived at Yourgos and were helped with the suitcases after first enjoying a drink at the bar, then to our beautiful studio. We travelled with our son of three who also had a lot of fun. Played with Nicolas, nephew of Yourgos. There are loads of toys for really small children, a slide and swing to toys in the pool, great. in the evening when our son was very tired and went to bed early Yourgos even ordered dinner for us to have on our balcony. What a service! A whole basket of books and a stack of magazines are at the bar and you notice that everyone leaves their read books behind, a free and cosy atmosphere. pure enjoyment. Thank you Yourgos and family. We’ll certainly come back!!!!!

29/09/2010 They offered several different options for accommodation, from studios to grand suites, so the complex can accommodate family's as well as couples. The apartments all have their own outside space and the majority of the rooms have a sea view. The pool is at the front of the complex and also has a sea view, a snack and drinks bar but because the complex is set on a hillside the pool area is not visible from the road. Each apartment has air conditioning, a safe deposit box, clean towels every other day, a maid service every day, except Sundays, and a hairdryer in the bathroom.
The complex is clean, clean, clean as are the apartments and the bedding and towels. Everything you need is on your doorstep and we will definately be staying here again. So much more I could say about how great this place is but there isn't enough room.
An absolute gem, well done to Yiorgos and his family who own and run the villas.
