18/08/2011 We are Australians and stayed on Crete in 1996 and decided to visit again this year. We were extremely happy with everything at the hotel. Breakfasts were great, staff were friendly and very helpful and the view was the best. An indoor pool was great for all of us as we have fair skin and burn easily. The early morning swims in the ocean were a treat. To be able to easily walk to the old town meant that entertainment and an enjoyable time were never far away. We are already saving for our next trip to Rethymnon.

23/06/2008 We stayed here from 9-20 June 2008.
Our arrival and that of many others was not so pleasant; they didn't have a room for about 20 people. The rooms division manager, Mr. Christos Giakissiklis, wanted us to stay at another hotel for 3 days. Most new arrivals accepted that but another couple and we refused that. With the help of the hostess they did have 2 rooms available after 2,5 hours. This is a hotel that values service, the rooms are super clean, the food is perfect, free sun beds and bath towels, very friendly staff. In short: there's nothing wrong here. We will definitely come back to Porto Rethymnon.

PS: If your return flight is late and you want to keep your room from noon until 6PM it will cost you 60 Euros.

02/09/2007 Great hotel, unique location. Across the street is a gigantic beach. Definitely worth 5 stars. Breakfast is great. Diner too much to name. Beautiful rooms, seaview is lovely. City is a 10 minute walk past the boulevard. We'll be back here.
