06/09/2010 Great hotel for a relaxed vacation with young children.

30/09/2009 Just back from a week and we cannot recommend it enough - it was great. Good food, reasonable wine but it was better to pay extra for the wine at dinner. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Head waiter in the main restaurant, Daniel, was a gem. A bit remote but fine for either crashing or hiring a car and doing a bit of touring. As with most hotels avoid the bus tours - over-priced - we didn't go but met others who had and they weren't overly impressed. Would go back

25/06/2008 This was our first all-inclusive holiday and we had a great time. We had a great 4 person room. The hotel is clean. The entertainment team is super. The mini disco was fun to watch. The food was fine and they had 2 theme restaurants. We stayed here in October. 1 Minus is the area. Sissi is small and authentic. There's not much to do. The restaurants were empty.
There's a beach they take you to in a bus. You cannot snorkel there due to the surf. The excursion that Sunweb offered to Spingalonga was very much OK.

24/06/2008 We stayed here from 8-15 June. Fine residence. Excellent service and the food was above average for an all-inclusive buffet. The rooms are fine. There's quite a difference in the rooms though, but they are all fine. We had a 2 room apartment; bedroom and living were very spacious. Very small shower (shower with toilet fitted right next to it and a tiny washbasin in front). My parents had booked the same but they had a much smaller living but a beautiful and large bathroom. There are plenty of sun beds at the 5 pools. 1 Pool has entertainment, the others are more quiet.

22/06/2008 After reading the positive and negative reviews we went to Vasia Beach for our 12 day stay. Upon arrival the reception was nice, beautiful room and residence. The first day breakfast was disappointing. No fresh fruits, no fresh juice and pasteurised milk. Lunch wasn't much better, the remnants of breakfast with some fries, pancakes and ice-creams from large containers. Then dinner, that was even worse. Left-overs from lunch are mixed with some other food and that's dinner. This is done every day, they never heard of variation. Even after you've complained several times they still take your plate. The sodas and mixes come from a machine and can be compared with cola from Aldi or Lidl in the Netherlands. The pool is OK. The beach will cost you 8 Euros/day for 2 sun beds and a sun screen. The bus leaves between 10 and 11AM and then picks you up at 1PM or 4PM. Not recommendable!!!!!!

09/09/2007 We enjoyed our stay with our one year old daughter. A nice hotel, good service, kind and helpful personnel. Good food, little variation. After 23:00 o'clock when the all-inclusive ends, it's quite expensive to order a drink. Poor drinks. We didn't eat real Grecian food. A nice pool. Too deep for our little girl. Great entertainment. I can recommend hiring a car or taking a cab to explore the area. Sissi is quite boring.

09/09/2007 Nice hotel. Friendly staff. All inclusive was good. Only rocks at the beach. Great vacation. We'll be back.
