This is one of the nicer apartments I have been to in Greece. It was nicely furnished and well maintained. The location was also good. It was quiet at night but the boulevard in Skala was really nearby.
Reception isn't opened 24 hours a day. The cleaner came into our room all the time to bring us toilet paper an to empty the bin. She even came in when we were in bed. They changed the beds once during our stay and that was also the only time we got clean towels.
Skala is visited by loads of English tourists and the food is also really English. Full English Breakfast and an English take on Gyros. Avoid the boulevard as the food down some of the side streets is much better. The beach is lovely but it's not great for snorkelling or anything like that. The beach isn't really suitable for children as there are some sharp rocks and the water is really deep (I can recommend bringing waterproof sandals to protect your feet).
