Reviews Apartment Molyvos Castle***

17/05/2008 Nice apartment complex with a beautiful location against a hill, with seaview! Nice and quiet, nice pool, big apartments with many facilities (apart from plates and pans). A bad thing is the distance to the nearest shops and cities, quite a walk (the shop is a 20 minutes walk). So a car or scooter are needed. We arrived at the end of April and at that moment the tourists' season had just began, so a couple of shops and restaurants were still closed and the most deck chairs weren't placed on the beach yet. But we had a wonderful vacation!

01/09/2007 Nice complex, nice for kids too. Nice and quiet, beautiful view. Transportation is needed, certainly with kids. Cottages are cleaned well. We had a very nice vacation here, beyond reproach

19/08/2007 Just got back 4 days ago. Am reading the reviews about the dirty poolwater! Don't understand this, right before our arrival the water was refreshed completely and it got cleaned, flushed through every day and they put new chlorine in every day. There is no caretaker, just Dina , the owner. Problaby they ment the Albanese gardener, he had blue eyes. Anyway, we thought everything was perfect. very clean, very spacious, very calm ( didn't hear one car) Beautiful view, friendly owner with good service. Perfect with kids, swimmingpool right outside the door. Large apartments. What i did see a lot: people sitting on their terras the whole day, no wonder the kids are bored. Its location is perfect when you have a car. Right between Petra and Molyvos. So a lot of choice if you want to go out to dinner. Washer was also very nice if you are staying three weeks, like us

09/09/2007 We returned a week ago. We had a great time on Lesbos. Molyvos Castle was a lovely spot for a wonderful vacation. Also our children enjoyed themselves (teenagers). We didn't expect a lot of it, qua cosiness for the children. At arrival we saw that most of the guests were families with children! Perfect! The apartments were super big, clean and comfortable. With those high temperatures we usually sat outside. A super location! The pool was filled with sweet water, instead of salt water. A car was a must.
