15/05/2008 Stayed in the Sun Beach II from the 24th of April till the 1st of May and we had a great time. The food here was really nice and the staff were friendly and took great care of all the guests. Our 11 month old daughter had an amazing time! I can recommend hiring a car from Sun. We hired a car for three days and it was much cheaper then the car we had been offered by our tour operator!! We were able to explore the island which was easy and it saved us money because we didn't go on any expensive trips. We loved discovering this island ourselves! I can really recommend doing it this way. Overall: This is a really nice hotel on an amazing island!

13/05/2008 Just got back from our 16th stay in the Sun Beach. It's still amazing. The staff are really friendly and the rooms are really clean. We were able to buy fresh bread each morning (including Sunday morning). I can really recommend this place.

21/05/2008 Stayed here for a week during Spring Break. This is a really nice resort with lots of different pools. There's a really nice playground for children. The beach is nearby. There's a really handy shop nearby which is open till 22.00. It took quite a long time for us to be able to check in as there was only one receptionist but we didn't mind as we were on holiday. The rooms were lovely and clean and the beds were comfortable. The food in Kostas was really nice. Walk down the road and turn to the right onto the main road. There's an authentic Greek restaurant on the right which is amazing. We had a fantastic time here! The train through the village is really nice for children. Don't really think it's suitable for adults as there's isn't anything particularly interesting nearby. There are some nice shops though.

13/05/2008 We think the Sun Beach is an amazing complex. The staff are really friendly, the food is nice, the rooms are clean, the pools are excellent, near the beach and the entertainment team is excellent and there are lots of different things to see and do. This was our fourth stay and we never get bored!!

03/05/2008 I (49 years old) stayed at Sunbeach II together with my mother (almost 80 years old). The pool from Sunbeach I was located next to the sea, we were allowed to lie down there too. The personnel was very friendly. Daily clean towels. The entertainment team was very enthousiastic and tried to enjoy everyone daily. It's a 10 minutes walk to the bus to Rhodos city. But it's a cosy stroll though with all shops on that route. A bus to Rhodos for 1.80 euros and a taxi for 10 euros. I don't like to sunbathe and that's why Rhodos is nice for 1 week. I'm never going to the same place for a second time.

06/09/2007 This was a really nice hotel. Everything is kept lovely and clean. The entertainment here is really nice!! There's something for every taste. The location is great. The staff are friendly. We never really go to the same place twice but if my children were a bit younger (15 and 9 now) I would definitely come and stay here again. We had a great time on this complex. The only downside was the price of the drinks on site. Everything is nearby. The beach is lovely but I can recommend bringing sandals as the stones in the water can hurt your feet! Getting into Rhodes is easy as there's a bus stop nearby and public transport here is ok.

30/08/2007 EXCELLENT HOLIDAY!
The hotel was wonderful. The room was spacious and it looked fantastic. We had an amazing view of the sea. The staff are really friendly and the entertainment is great (especially Anis and Nicky). I can recommend the Pita Gyros they serve in the cafe on the other side of the road. It only costs 1.80 which is a bargain. The Beach Party is nice too. I liked Rhodes. The Jungle Tour with Nikos was fun. The people we met really nice. The Muddes and the Bloms were really nice. ALL OF RHODES WAS REALLY NICE!

28/08/2007 I stayed here for two weeks (12-26 August) in the Kids suite. I had to pay 210 euros extra. A standard room looks much nicer. When we left all the kids stuff is taken away. They provided us with a fun pack: t-shirts and a colouring book. The a/c was ok. The location was excellent (132), it was on the ground floor and the lawn and the beach were just outside. The rooms are cleaned daily. The water in the children's pool isn't clean and it doesn't look that well maintained. There's lots of chlorine in the pool which damaged our swimsuits. The floor near the pool is really greasy. The entertainment team were great. Judith who works in the Kids Club is really nice. There's a kids disco during the day and at night. They don't work for the Tour Operator. All the staff work really hard. The supermarket is nearby but it's quite expensive. The breakfast and the dinner buffet were nice. Lots of English, Dutch, French and Italian tourists here. There's a big playground near the SB2. They also have a tennis court and mini-golf. SB1 is quiet than SB2 (entertainment there goes on till midnight).

10/09/2007 This is a really nice hotel which is really suitable for small children. The Sun Beach II has a pool with a slide.

The Kids Suite was really nice. It was clean and looked great. Breakfast and dinner were really nice too. The staff are extremely friendly.

Cons:
The beds in the bedroom were uncomfortable.
There's lots of chlorine in the pool which ruined our swimwear. The pool isn't very clean either.
