11/09/2007 We just got back (30th of August - 9th of September). We stayed here with our family (2 adults and one baby of 1,5). We had a really lovely time here.
The food is nice and there's plenty of variety (not that much for children, especially at lunch so just ask for a slice of bread and some chocolate spread).
The rooms were spacious and clean. The entertainment during our stay wasn't that great. There was no entertainment for adults in the Sunland or the Blue Bay.
The climbing frame near the Kidsworld is old and dangerous (not suitable for small children).
The rest of the hotel is nice and it's lovely and quiet here in the evenings. All the entertainment there was, was in the Blue Bay hotel.
The older part of Rhodes is lovely and I can really recommend it.
The weather here was wonderful during our stay.
We had a brilliant holiday here.

11/09/2007 We stayed here with our two children and we had a really excellent holiday. There are lots of Dutch people here and our children made loads of friends. The entertainment was so much fun we still make jokes about Billy. We also really liked the Barkie club. The food and drinks were nice and we didn't have to queue for dinner once. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff here are extremely friendly. We thought the water park was disappointing. Our children went there for three hours and then got bored with it. They preferred the pool near the hotel. So we didn't go back. We went to the Blue Bay and wondered what to expect. We will definitely come and stay here again as we had a wonderful time.

06/09/2007 Sorry but our stay here from the 16th - 30th of August 2007 wasn't that brilliant and it definitely wasn't worth all the money we paid for it. This hotel wasn't nice at all. We didn't have TV for two weeks and that can be quite a pain with a child. We had two large leaks in the bathroom (water came in through the ceiling) and we didn't have any towels for days. The room wasn't ever very clean and some days we came back and discovered that the door to our room hadn't been closed because the cleaner forgot to do it. She did make our bed but she refused to make my sons bed. I had to make his bed every night so he could get a decent night's sleep.
I expected bed making to be included with the all-in deal we'd booked.
I feel like I need to apologise again but I really can't recommend this hotel. I am also quite sure that I will never ever come and stay here again....

05/09/2007 We just get back and we didn't see any of the bad things other people have complained about. This hotel is great value for money. It's not really in the centre but there are plenty of taxis that will take you there. The staff in the hotel are friendly and the entertainment team were really nice. This is a nice hotel with a nice atmosphere.

04/09/2007 Our whole family (all four of us) really enjoyed the Blue Bay hotel****. We had a really positive experience. We were able to relax and there were plenty of activities and games. People of all ages could join in. There's something for every taste here. We had a really nice time here.

03/09/2007 We stayed here from the 5th - 19th of August. We met some really nice people here. The food is ok. This place isn't as huge as Sunland. There are always queues for food there. Don't just accept the queues and try somewhere else. The food there is cold as well. The sport activities are really quite nice. The planes flying over really aren't that bad. The towel thing is annoying but people seem to do that everywhere!!! No point making a fuss about it just make sure you do it as well! Walking around here at night is fairly boring. There aren't that many shops. There's no music in the cafe but that's because the people that live in the pink house have complained about the noise!! The rooms here are really clean!

28/08/2007 The Sunland hotel is great for children up till the age of about 6. The food as awful and there was no entertainment for our two daughters. The planes flew over the hotel every fifteen minutes. This place really isn't very good value for money. The room was clean and spacious but it looked more like a locker-room and nothing like an apartment. I will never come and stay in the Sunland again.
After our holiday we felt like some real Greek food and ate in our local which was much better.

28/08/2007 This hotel is suitable for children. It's on a small scale and we could easily keep an eye on the kids. The food is simple but it tastes nice. There are two pools. There's not much to do here at night but you can go to the Blue Bay hotel if you don't mind a crowd.
We had a really nice holiday.

26/08/2007 Location, shame that there aren't more shops nearby. You are a bit isolated and to get into town we had to take a taxi. I would have liked to walk down the boulevard. Overall we had a nice holiday with lots of sunshine.

15/08/2007 We just got back from Rhodes. We had a really nice holiday here. Our daughter had a brilliant time in the Kidsworld. The programme for children was varied and it was fun. The food gets a bit boring after about a week as there isn't enough variety. The planes do fly over quite a bit (late at night and early in the morning). That did bother us from time to time. We had a fridge in our bungalow that was out of order during our stay. We did complain to reception twice about this but they didn't help us. The rest of the bungalow looked really nice. We didn't like the fact that the deckchairs were hogged constantly for a fortnight during out stay. The towels were put down on the first day and weren't taken off till the last day. I've never seen anything like it! There really weren't enough deckchairs here anyway. More people then deckchairs.
