27/05/2008 A great apartment complex with super friendly owners. Very kind, very complete, ironing board, iron, blow-drier, washing-up liquid, they had everything. The rooms are being cleaned regularly, a nice balcony and everything was nearby, good restaurant, sea, supermarket, newspaper (etc.). I recommend it to everyone!

13/05/2008 We stayed there from the 2nd - the 9th of May 2008. Very nice weather and we really felt at home there again. Only it's annoying that my review is thrown off this website every time. I'm very satisfied about this accommodation. Very nice at the start of the season.

13/05/2008 We lost the count, so often we stayed here. With 2 children of all ages. Since 1992. Over the year we stayed at apartments: 1, 2, 3, 6 and 7. I don't understand why some people on this website rated this accommodation with a 1, qua suitability for children. We know Manolis and Sofia very well. So we wanted to hear their side of the story. And it appeared that these people (the family that complained) were the kind of Dutch were other Dutch feel ashamed for. Their children were behaving badly and the parents didn't do anything about it. Other guests were bothered by it. They destroyed the flower garden (etc.). Manolis and Sofia are very hospitable and are friendly towards children. Some respect for hardworking Greeks, who do everything to enjoy their guests, is probably too much to ask for, for the family Disappointed.

05/05/2008 The host and his wife were very friendly. The studio was big, only the bed wasn't that good, backache, the rest was great! At the end of April not many restaurants are open yet, really the start of the season.

26/08/2007 Good apartment, clean rooms and Manolis & Sofia were very hospitable. We really enjoyed ourselves and would like to return there again.

17/08/2007 We stayed in the Aiolos in Kokkari because it had such good reviews. The review were write and we can only confirm what other people have said about this place. It's a really nice complex with a nice pool and a beach nearby. The staff made us feel welcome and people here are really friendly. Samos is a really nice island and Samos itself is a fantastic city. Kokkari isn't that busy but it isn't dead either. Just not that many tourists here. The locals are really nice.

13/08/2007 We were made to feel really welcome here and the service was excellent. Everything was clean and well maintained. I've never seen anything like it! The staff here are extremely friendly. I can recommend the Meltemi, which is an excellent restaurant, and is located on the other side of the road. We had an apartment on the first floor and we saw the way they cleaned the Meltemi. Any hygiene organisation would be proud of this restaurant as it is spotless. We ate in quite a few restaurants and the Italian restaurant to the right of Meltemi is also really nice. The restaurants located on the boulevard in all the nicer spots weren't actually that great in my opinion.
There were some lovely outdoor cafes on the boulevard and I had a great time sipping some cocktails there. The Bira across from the bus station was a bit overrated (more like an expensive chippy). The restaurant to the right on Kokari at the end of the boulevard has a great location but the cats ate our food in the end.

22/05/2008 It's been 4 years ago already. We really miss it. We've been there 5 years in a row. They really treat you well there, if you're behaving well too. We were always treated very well there. You just had to ask them for some things and they would get it for you. I only have positive things to say about this place. If everything works out, then we'll be coming here with the whole family next year.
