I think Ormos is an absolutely brilliant place to visit; it is a beautiful holiday destination, and it's not the kind of place where you bump into people who were on your flight, unlike most destinations. The locals are welcoming and very friendly, and the food is utterly superb - I would recommend The Kerkis. The scenery is breathtaking and there are many wonderful places to visit. The weather is amazing, I went in August 2006 and again in August 2008, and both times it was boiling! The beaches are fantastic; there are loads of shaded areas, and there's never any rush to get there before someone steals your spot - when I went there were never more than 4 people on the beach. The culture and lifestyle is captivating; there is no commercialised part of Ormos. The locals are very hardworking, and put a lot of effort into making people welcome and looking out for visiters.
I would definately recommend this; the best holiday I have ever been on.
