25/06/2009 This was our second stay and we weren't disappointed. Very good rooms, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfasts second to none. An array of excellent restaurants in all directions and just around the corner to the Opera and the Metro.

25/06/2009 Excellent central location, close to many bars and restaurants and only two mins to the nearest metro. Room was very spacious and clean with modern decor and the buffet breakfast filled my kite right up!!!

25/06/2009 The hotel was in an excellent position for both walking around and for transport. The hotel itself was comfortable with everything I would expect from a 4* establishment. The breakfast was good with a reasonable variety of hot and cold and an abundance of different bread and rolls. The bedroom was good for a city centre hotel with a fair amount of room and a reasonable bathroom. The only complaint I would have is that there were no drawers - a complaint true of a lot of hotels these days. I would definitely recommend the hotel and I will probably use the same hotel when I take my wife to Budaoest (I went with my son this time).

25/06/2009 An excellent hotel. The room was clean, quiet, modern and comfortable, not over-large but quite adequate, and the bathroom was also excellent. Breakfast was a buffet of very high quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Three internet PCs were provided, free. There was no restaurant for dinner, but food was available in the bar and there are many excellent restaurants nearby. The location was extremely convenient. We would choose the same hotel again.

25/06/2009 Overall, I was happy enough with the hotel. The room (in which we had three adults sleeping) was of a good size, and well furnished, The bathroom had a shower only, no bath; which was a little disappointing, but not a great inconvenience in our two night stay. The location was fine; central enough to be convenient for major sights. The Reception staff were excellent - very friendly and very helpful. The major downside to the hotel was the breakfast area; poorly designed in terms of layout, with staff overworked (and a bit surly as a result); a rethink of the layout or a reduction in capacity is required, to my mind. It was hard to find a table for three, and we were forever squeezing past other tables to get to a crowded central buffet... not the best of dining experiences. Other than that; a decent enough hotel.

25/06/2009 The K+K is a better choice than most of the five-star hotels in Budapest.
I spent 9 nights in this hotel, and I was extremely happy with my choice. Very good value. Great location, very close to restaurants, tourist spots, public transportation, parking. *Very* nice rooms, tastefully decorated, broadband internet (no extra charges). Sauna, fitness room, excellent breakfast. Good service, professional and friendly. The staff speaks good English. For some bizarre reason, all the newspapers available are in German, despite the fact that many tourists are from Britain and France. Avoid the the bar, there are many better places at 3 minutes' walk. The rate I found via Skoosh was 20% better than the rate offered by other travel sites.

25/06/2009 visited Budapest from Dec 17th-21st. Stated at the K&K Opera hotel is in ideal location for all major sights, also plenty of bars and restuarants.Would recommend the big red bus tour you can hop on & off when you like, tickets can be bought from the Intercontinal Hotel(or on the bus) where the tour starts from. Hotel easy to reach from the airport caught the bus outside the airport terminal take's you to the start of the metro-line kobanya-kispest change at Deak Ferenc Ter change from the blue line to the yellow line then its just 2 stops to the Opera, the hotel is 1 street back. Hotel very clean and the staff friendly and always willing to help if you have any queries, breakfast serves till 11 am you could'nt ask for more. Szechery baths are mixed ideal for couples(some of the baths in budapest are'nt) is a must do whilst in Budapest, its a 20 minute walk straight up Andrassy Ut just behind Hero's square. Would recommend Budapest it's a wonderful city.

25/06/2009 The K+K Opera can only be described as superb. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the entire building was spotlessly clean. We had a room on the top (seventh) floor, which was immaculate, and extremely quiet considering that the hotel is located so close to one of the city's major roads. It is literally a two minute walk from the nearest underground station (Opera), giving easy access to the whole city. It is a pleasant ten minute strole from an abundance of quality, reasonably priced restaurants located at Liszt Ferenc Terrace. We stayed an a bed and breakfast basis, with a superb breakfast (hot or cold) served from 0600 to 1100. The breakfast room was, again, spotless.
Bar prices within the hotel were a little pricey, but with with so much choice on your doorstep to suit any budget, this was simply not an issue.
Overall, a highly recommended hotel in a highly recommended city. We will certainly be returning in the future.

25/06/2009 I would like to say that our stay at the K&K was excellent. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the room service was superb. We really enjoyed our breakfasts each morning and there was a wonderful selection to choose from, making our choice very difficult!

We really enjoyed our stay in Budapest and would stay at the K&K again, without hesitation.

One thing I would like to mention, we noticed that the Receptionists, whilst being efficient, were not very welcoming - one in particular did not smile at all.

Thanks for helping to make our stay in your beautiful city very enjoyable.
