16/06/2008 We just got back from Bali. Wonderful hotel, clean, quiet and with a lovely garden where the cabins are. I didn't have the feeling we were in a hotel, it was more like a bungalow park.
The beach is on your doorstep in the most beautiful area of Sanur; the lovely trees provide shade for an afternoon nap. The restaurants on the beach; you have try Bobby's sate (2,50 Euros), you must pass by the first Italian restaurant you see; it's no more than a supermarket pizza. Donald is also fine and Mama Putu at the front side of the road is also fine and cheap. The taxis near the entrance (grey vans) are nice for a day trip, 30-40 Euros for an entire day. The chauffeurs are friendly and reliable. In short: a lovely place to enjoy your holiday.

05/05/2008 Joli resort à Sanur qui est situé au bout de la route au bord de la mer. La piscine est très belle et le petit déjeuner est parfait. Des bons restaurants tous les 100 mètres. Bonne ambiance chez Macdo. Les taxis ne sont pas chers (15000 rupiah pour aller en ville). Vous payez 30 ou 35 euros pour une journée, je vous le recommande. Bref, Mercure resort es vivement recommandé!!!

04/06/2008 A hotel like the hotels in France or Spain. Nice park with nice pools. Good beach, quiet and plenty of deck chairs. The family room was made of two normal rooms, so very big and very suitable for a family with two children. The rooms are very standard, but good. Extensive breakfast, buffet, that was kind of nice. We stayed there for 6 days and that was more than enough. We made some trips with the drivers outside, I recommend it. We saw a lot because of that. Then you'll find out that you don't want to stay in Kuta. The meals at the restaurants in the neighbourhood are okay.
