The Belair is a small hotel which is located under the road. You arrive in a car park and then take the lift or the stairs down to the lobby. The rooms are under the lobby. The location means that the rooms are lovely and quiet and you can't hear the road. You can hear people in the other rooms (chairs being moved etc). My room was right above the pool but there's no sun near the pool during the afternoon. The TV wasn't great; just a few Italian channels and some foreign news. The bathroom with a bath and separate shower was really nice. The bed was large but I found it a bit on the hard side. The interior was just amazing. It was Venetian and the pool had a maritime theme. There's a nice path that leads to Marina Grande (fishing village nearby) but the gates are closed at times. The staff here are lovely but they can be very formal. Breakfast buffet is ok and you can order eggs (whatever way you want them). The restaurant isn't great. You can book this through a tour operator but the prices online can be cheaper. I can recommend this hotel.
