30/06/2008 We just got back from Del Garda. We stayed in a mobile home with airco. The mobile home looked fine but was a bit small. The airco (8 hours a day max) was great. There was a perfect awning in front of the caravan, it was ideal against the rain and the sun. The camping site looked descent but it was very busy at the swimming pool. The Garda lake was only a few meters walking but the beach was a disappointment. It is half an hour walk to Peschiera. Very nice to visit (there is a market on Monday).

29/06/2008 I stayed on a camping site for the first time in my life, never again. 0% Privacy, only in the caravan with the curtains closed! This is probably part of going camping. A huge camping site and too far from the village! Tidy though and with a lot of animation for the children. Not enough space to swim for such a large camping site. You were literally standing against each other in the water. And it wasn't even high season yet! Tip for the camping site owner: rent out the sun beds around the swimming pool! You'll get rid of the rude people that claim a bed and barely lay on it. Reception is a disaster on Saturdays. After a long journey they'll keep you waiting another hour! So not a positive experience. We will just book a hotel along the boulevard again next time, even it that means the children won't be entertained that much!

29/06/2008 In total we stayed 15 minutes in the bungalow after we opened the front door. It was poverty everywhere. The bungalows were very old and smelled musty. There was fungus in the shower cabin. That shouldn't be happening in 2008. We brought back the key to the reception and they gave us a better house. So we recommend you not to accept the house like that. If you look at the price you hardly pay anything for a shed like that, but you hardly get anything either. Rather pay a bit more and book a new type of bungalow. These are reasonable for the price you have to pay.

30/06/2008 This simply is a super camping site. We have stayed here for the past 4 years and they always help us out well and things like that.

29/06/2008 We stayed here in the late season of 2006 through a tour operator. We booked another camping site but because of a mistake they made we ended up here. It is a nice camping site with a swimming pool and it is located on the lake. Although swimming in the lake is not that much fun because of the large stones in it. You will fall without a doubt. It is nice though to rent a pedal boat. They don't really have a nice terrace or some nightly entertaining. That was a bit of a disappointment, although the places we got through our tour operator invite you to have a cosy chat with your temporary neighbours. In short: a nice but also boring camping site where they won't make any atmosphere for you.
