02/09/2011 Camping I Pini has a lovely lagoon with a slide and other childrens entertainment and a 1.2m deep pool which is nice.Aqua arobics take place mornings and afternoons and there is a children's disco in the evenings. The shop has everything you need, including lovely fresh bread and the shop keeper is very friendly and helpful. The receptionists were also very helpful and spoke perfect english. The free shuttle bus to Fiano Romano worked well and there is a coach to Rome daily for 8 euros return leaving at 10am, returning at 7pm. The restaurant serves very good food, the service is good and the price is reasonable. The only complaint I have is that there was no smoke alarm in our mobile home. There were holes where one had once been and although this was reported twice, one was never fitted. I would recommend this site, especially for children and for visiting Rome.

17/08/2011 A quiet but lovely campsite. The staff were warm and welcoming, the restaurnat was good and affordable and the pool was small but lively. This was all helped by lovely weather and a fantastic location in the hills outside Rome. There was a very good shuttle bus service into the nearby village and also a daily service into Rome for 8 euros each. The shop sold basic supplies and was not overpriced and there was entertainment in the evenings. If you are looking for great excitement in the evenings, this may not be the place for you, but if you are looking for a relaxing site from where you can visit Rome, then it is lovely.

01/09/2011 The campsite is small and quiet and ideal for families with younger children but active enought that our 10 and 13 year old had enough to do. The Animation team were great, interactive enough but without being annoying and overdone. All the staff were pleasant and helpful and the reception staff were fluent in a number of languages. Visitors were from Britain, Netherlands and Italy. Transport with the shuttle to the local town and Rome was accommodating and convenient. The public transport to Rome looked bitty with a shuttle to the town, bus to the train station and train into Rome and timings didn't seem to work very well. We had decided not to hire a car so rely on the shuttle which was fine, only a bit limiting in the evenings. The site is located on a lovely hillside and is quite remote. The resturant served good food and the shop covered everything but was expensive compared to the Carefour in the town. Lovely site and a great base for Rome. We'd go back and we'd recommend it

05/06/2008 A small and cosy camping with all (basic) facilities you need. The mobile home was simple but fine, the pool wasn't that large but OK, the restaurant was not expensive the food was good, fine ice-cream at the bar and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed here during the May break and so there wasn't any entertainment yet, the bar at the pool wasn't open either. But as everything is located nearby this is no problem.
Rome is within easy reach by public transport, we parked our car very safely near Pertralata metro station (very easy to find using Tom Tom) and that got us to the city in a flash. In short: a nice quiet camping with no fancy facilities. But we enjoyed it very much.

15/05/2008 This is a small campsite with a great atmosphere and all the basic facilities you will need. The caravan was basic but nice, the pool wasn't huge but it was ok. The restaurant wasn't expensive and the food is nice. I liked the ice-cream they served in the bar. We stayed here during Spring Break so there was no entertainment during our stay. The bar near the pool was also closed during our stay. However, everything is nearby so it really wasn't that much of a problem. Rome is easy to get to using public transport. We parked our car near the Pietralata metro stop (easy to find using sat nav) and it didn't take very long to get into the centre that way.

12/05/2008 We visited this camping during the May vacation in 2008. The camping itself wasn't special. The location is good, nearby Rome. There is a small unheated pool (very cold). Big fenced complex with big inflatable castles, where you could jump on. Small supermarket with a basic assortment. During the day, as well as during the night you could hear many dogs barking and a goose (at the neighbours of the camping, next to the tent field) was "screaming" at every sound he heard (also often at night). We drove to the car park of Saxa Rubra by car (hard to find because of the roadwork) and from there you can reach Rome for a couple of euros.

15/05/2008 If you're looking for a camping with not a lot of hoo-ha, then this one is perfect. The camping is small, but cosy and especially also quiet. The facilities that are there aren't always very big, but okay. The meals at the restaurant are tasty and not expensive, especially the buffets are very good. The shop has a small, but complete assortment. The pool is good, the trampolines are also very nice for the kids. In the May vacation there's still no entertainment, also the bar at the pool isn't open yet. The personnel at the camping is very friendly and helpful. At the reception are a couple of internet computers. You can go to Rome by the bus from the camping. We drove to the border fo the city, parked our car (safe) at subway station Pietralata and from there you could reach the centre in no time by subway. We had a very nice vacation there.
