A small, nice and relatively cheap hotel. Don't expect large bedrooms where you can easily (un)pack your suitcases. I believe that the owner does his best to give the hotel a unique character. The hotel is neat and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. The reception is small. Breakfast room is also small with only room for about six (!) people. Oh yes, breakfast is typically Italian: coffee/tea, orange juice, sweet croissant, bread and jam. The location of the hotel is fantastic, without a doubt. In an alley about 200m from the Spanish Steps. Pleasant area where you won't be bored easily at night. Ideal operating base to visit the other sights of Rome on foot. If you're very critical you'll have trouble with the limited space the hotel offers. But to me the positive aspects have made up for this.
