Reviews Guest house Le Marche Ramusè

27/06/2011 Agriturismo Ramuse, farmhouse accomodation in Le Marche, is still the oasis of tranquillity and good food it was a year ago when we first visited. The view across the valley to Montelparo in the early morning or evening is still for us the most beautiful in Italy, and this year I could see the hill top town of Force from my bathroom window and Montelparo from the bedroom – magic.

The food, cooked by the owner Paolo Ciccioli, with a little help from “Mama” is exceptional, and the reasonably priced wines go perfectly with it…Try some of the Pecorino, white wine made from an old grape that has been reintroduced to the local vineyards – the rosso piceno red wine and local olive oil should also be sampled.


The cherry orchard was in fruit and with typical Paulo generosity, we were invited to “help ourselves”, and we did.

If you enjoy peace and quiet, outstanding views, hospitality and food - this is the place to visit..

15/11/2010 This was our third stay (in a row !)at Ramusé, and it certainly won't be the last. The food is not only excellent, but on several occasions we were actually invited into the kitchen to see it being prepared. Moreover Paolo will take you to cheesemakers, olive oil producers, winegrowers, a cattle & goat farm, you name it. To say nothing of passing the afternoon around the swimming pool overlooking the rolling hills of the Marche, and, as happened last year, seeing a family of wild boars passing by barely 50 yards away. This year Paolo managed to lure a young fox to his back door every morning.
