Imperia is very wonderful to visit.
It's old streets, the market, lovely shops and beaches.
After a walk through the harbour taking a seat at a restaurant, to enjoy a festive truly Italian meal. For such a low price it's exceptionel. Fresh fish, mussels but also excellent steaks and of course pasta's.The traffic is busy but not worse than Paris or Rome.
The people are all very friendly and willing to help, even if they don't speak English.
We speak no Italian at all, but after every question asked in a shop or on the street we would have a satisfied feeling of the way we've been treated.
The Flora is really rich.Driving through the city the oranges are hanging down the trees, and erverywere there's lovely bourgainville and other flowers. And of course the palmtrees.Yes if your expecting a big city lots of shops and faciltities to go clubbing, this isn't your town. But to get to know a city wich is located in a historical region and has variety in culture trips it's a real good choice
