02/06/2008 We had an apartment suitable for 5 but we stayed here with the 2 of us. That was excellent. However, I wouldn't recommend this apartment for more than 3 people.
We arrived here on 7 May and the pool hadn't been filled yet. That was a bit of a shame, but the Vrij Uit brochure hadn't mentioned the correct information. They said the pool would be available from the first week in May whereas another brochure said that the pool would be open from the third week in May..
After 3 days we were able to dive in anyway. Garden and pool are maintained excellently.

17/05/2008 At the beginning of May we stayed at the apartment for 5 persons, for 4 nights. Bedroom with a double bed and bunkbed; a 5th bed in the living room. Simple interior, yet clean. Big balcony with a fantastic view on the town and the sea. Elevated location, so each time you have to climb a lot of stairs to reach the town. Friendly welcome, but they didn't give us a lot of touristic information. They provided us with bed sheets and towels. We had to clean the place ourselves. From Pietra Ligure we visited Genua by train, a very beautiful city with a gorgeous, modern harbour area, where there's a lot to see and to do. During the preseason an excellent price-quality ratio (only 31 euros/night).

16/05/2008 Splendid view, but a small balcony. We were there with 2 families. One apartment had well furnished rooms, but the other (our) apartment really needed a face-lift. The swimming pool only opened on the 2d day of Whitsun. The deposit of a 100 euros must be paid in cash, because a credit card is not accepted.

14/05/2008 The view is fantastic. The town of Pietra Ligure is super cosy. Shady squares. Delicious cappuccino for a reasonable price. The 5 persons apartment itself wasn't great (1 bedroom and a kitchen), we had to sleep with 3 persons in the kitchen, next to a loud fridge. The view and the big balcony made up for it though. The family Rembado wasn't very helpful; we discussed this with them, that it was too small for 5 persons, but they wouldn't listen. And the pool was also empty for the full 10 days!? Still we had a very good vacation, thanks to the beautiful spot and the wonderful weather.
