Reviews Campsite Le Pianacce***

08/08/2012 It was a realy great place to stay! We're probably going back next year. It was a bit busy at the swimming pool, but everything else was great. I think it's a great place for kids, but there is also enough to do for teenagers. Like they can dance a musicle on friday night, which was realy fun. There is a realy nice village nearby, you can actually walk to, and you're on the beach very fast too. And the animation people, King, Martina and Marina were fun too and worked realy hard. We had a nice stay!

24/08/2011 Lovely site with stunning views of the countryside. Friendly staff and very nice food in the restaurant. great children's club with staff who work extremely hard. The only negative aspects to the site are that it is not possible to park on your pitch and that it is very steeply terraced. Definitely somewhere that I would stay again.

16/08/2011 Just one big remark (bad)!
The camping was really good and great but:
- We were in Italy, we thought beeing in Netherlands
- You should have mentioned that the majority of people coming there were dutch speaking only. No one in the camping speaks french, our kids were not able to participate to any animation which is really bad. Could be good to promote a bit more the french language (at least for animation).
The pool rules were not respected.... Dutch people were really there like at home, taking all seats around the pool, playing with unauthorized games (balls, tire, etc...) and above all smoking close to the pool, which is totally incredible.

Nedvertheless, we will keep a good souvenir of our holidays with you!

There are too many people which reserve a chair for the hole day!

02/07/2010 I've been on site during the month of June 2010 with my family (two small children). We rented a mobile-home directly from the campsite (Lucca) with a great sea-view in a totally peacefull environment, that was fully equipped and very clean. The staff is very helpful both at the Reception and at the Restaurant, where you can eat watching the sunset on the terrace. Maybe just the way to return to our mobile-home in the evening was steep for the children.

06/06/2008 Travelling time from the end of May / beginning of June with a small child aged four. Magnificent camp ground, kind staff, stayed at a beautiful caravan of Tui/Holland International. Excellent restaurant, nice pool and nice paddling pool. We were there in the pre-season so it was still very quiet. Beautiful beach at Marina di Donoratico, the weather wasn't that good though, but you cannot do anything about that.

19/05/2008 It was quite hard to organise linen here. We had a double and a single package and there was only one blanket in it. This is apparently standard practice according to Roan and the tour operator should have us. It was a real pain as it meant that two of us were really cold during our first night in this place.

11/02/2008 The campsite is remote and the staff at the reception rather grumpy and unfriendly. However, the restaurant and the market are excellent and if the owner of the campsite put some more money on the transportation services, Le Pianacce might become a really nice place for holiday. Unfortunately, at the moment it is not.
