26/07/2010 To dangerous at pool, the lifeguards are more concerned about lookimg good than, look after wild people in the pool. Almost all personel exept the good persons at the info point are not happy. Location super, could be at good place, if they manage to teche the personel to smile, better guidance at pool, and more personel in the restaurants (Icebar for example)

02/07/2008 I just returned from a 2 weeks stay in a Vacansoleil mobile home. A BRILLIANT camping site. Especially for families with children up to +/- 12 or 13 years old or for families without children (like us). There isn't much for youngsters of 13 or older but apparently that's what they chose for. Good animation. Aqua-jogging, dance lessons (samba etc.) and aerobics it is all done by the animation team. Very child friendly gorgeous swimming pools. The supermarket is spacious and assorted. In the park you pay with a pass which you deposit money on. You have to get used to it but once you have it is ideal. Never a problem with lots of change in your pocket. The beach is definitely 700 or 800 meters away, as is mentioned in the brochures. And they started counting at the gate. If you like walking, you could make it to San Vincenzo walking (nearest town), otherwise you need a bike.

02/07/2008 I just got back from 14 days in a mobile home from a rental agency. Simply BRILLIANT for families with children up to +/-12 years old or for people without children (like us). For youngsters of 13 years old and older there is not really a lot going on (yet), but apparently that's what they chose for on this camping site. Good animation and the children simply adore the people from the animation team. Aqua-jogging, dancing lessons (samba etc.), and aerobics, it is all organized by the animation team. Gorgeous, child friendly swimming pools; they are shallow and have a soft bottom. Well assorted shop but more expensive than a regular supermarket, which is usual with shops on a camping site. Some roads are dusty but they try to limit it as much as possible. You pay with a pass which you deposit money on. You have to get used to it but it is very efficient. The beach is at least 700/800 meters away.

01/07/2008 We spent 9 days on the Albatros camping site on the date mentioned above. We stayed in a Vacansoleil mobile home. The giant pool that actually consists of 4 big swimming pools was very good and nice. It is very child friendly too because the bottom is covered with a kind of cushions. It was nice and quiet during the time we were there because the high season hadn't started yet. But we noticed that the catering staff didn't do well at all in spite of that. We only got half of what we ordered and they said they would arrange it immediately after we complained about it (not), but everything was on the bill though. It was just as bad sometimes in the afternoon at the swimming pool. We had to wait long but there were no other customers. And the kitchen closed at 2.30pm already because they didn't feel like working any longer. And they never heard of the word hospitality. They almost threw the food on your table. 30/06/2008 We stayed on this camping site the first 2 weeks of June with children of 3 years and 11 months old. The swimming pool is superb, made of soft material and shallow with enough sun beds and nice slides. The sanitary was constantly cleaned and efficiently built for small children (with mini showers and toilets). The restaurant is located next to the playground so you can have a relaxed dinner. They serve the food fast and it is very good. The take away pizza's are not that great, but in the restaurant they re good and not expensive. It is a large camping site but you won't really notice. The camping site is well taken care of. It is recommendable. The big cities are a bit too far from here. Elba isn't of course. Pity that the nearest town is 7 km away. Recommendable for families that want to enjoy the beach, swimming pool and the sun

30/06/2008 We had a brilliant holiday on this camping site together with our 2 children. It is a good camping site for small children indeed. The swimming pool is a paradise for them and let's not forget the beautiful playground. And if they enjoy their selves, what more can you wish for........ The shop has got everything you need (perfect in case you forget something in the COOP) Recommendable is the beach in VADA (white beaches) which is a 30 minute drive. The places are hidden nicely in between the pine trees and it is a bit dusty but that happens with 30 degrees or more.
