08/12/2012 Great central location in Tuscany, handy to lots of interesting little villages. Also close to autostrada for longer trips. Apartment very spacious, able to unpack & spread out.. Upstairs apartment with view. Lovely green garden & courtyard, pool. Located in the old part of Sinalunga, easy walking distance. Host was very helpful.

16/11/2011 In October 2011 we have spent our second holiday at "La Limonaia", the smallest of the three apartments belonging to "Fonte del Castagno". Again we have been very content. The apartment is beautifully restored, clean and well equipped and situated in a wonderful Tuscan garden. We loved sitting on the terrace in the evening, drinking a glass of wine and simply enjoying the beautiful surroundings. In the garden there is even a nice and relatively large swimming pool, but the temperature did not allow us to take a bath.
Roberto Bardini, our host, was very friendly and helped us with many hints and recommendations. We also made friends with Nerino, his little dog, who visited us every morning.
Sinalunga has a remarkable historical center and is situated very well for discovering the eastern part of Tuscany (La Crete, Val di Chiana, Val d'Orcia …). There are several very good restaurants close to the apartment.
We will return to "Fonte del Castagno" soon - probably already next year.
