02/10/2007 Tosi is situated quite far from the busy roadways. If you want to make excursions to the cultural cities in Toscany, you´ll lose some time travelling there. At this moment in time there are traffic jams quite regularly in Firenze area because of roadworks. The train leaving from San Ellero or Pantasieve is a perfect alternativ to go to Firenze. The hotel restaurant is reasonable, but gastronomic is a bit too much credit! Good Toscan kitchen. Breakfast is the same every day, a bit of variation wouldn´t hurt, especially if you don´t fancy cereals like cornflakes as an alternatif for croissants and rolls. Had a good holiday after all!

18/08/2007 The speciality restaurant is not there anymore. The "new chef" turned out to be a disaster. The food was simply bad! They didn't speak English and there was nobody behind the receptiondesk. There were different people in the kitchen every day. There were rumours that the hotel was closing down. That wasn't nice to hear after returning from your daytrip.
