24/07/2007 A very beautifully decorated, luxury hotel. Clean. Rooms are cleaned twice a day. Room with flat screen TV, CD-player, safe. Location is fine: around the corner from a boat taxi stop at the Rialto bridge. Less than 10 minutes from the San Marco square. No hotel restaurant but just around the corner there is one already. Breakfast is not very extensive but enough for a decent breakfast; you could get a boiled egg if you paid extra. Very friendly service. There's tiny bar. Relaxation in the evening with the pleasure of several drinks on the terrace and nice background music.

15/07/2007 We stayed here 2 nights instead of 3. Because of an electricity problem we had to spend the first night in another hotel (nice arrangement but still a shame). In exchange for spending that one night elsewhere in Venice we got a super luxurious suite for the other 2 nights. Fantastically decorated room with flat screen, very spacious bathroom with bath and double washbasin. We also got a bottle of champaign for our honeymoon. Receptionists were very friendly, staff at breakfast as well even though there weren't many. Breakfast buffet sumptuous and good. Location is a plus. Real must! We will definitely return here!

Nothing rates a perfect 5 in my books because there is always room for improvement.
HOWEVER!!! this is really close....A La Commedia have hired great people and the Hotel has been recently renovated so it's fresh, clean, bright and located in the heart of Venice. (only a couple minutes walk from the water taxi terminal)
Not only would recommend this hotel, I look forward to returning someday.

You won't be disappointed. Have FUN!
