25/06/2009 We managed to get this fantastic hotel at a brilliant rate. Considering some of the other places I've stayed in Venice, this place was excellent. I liked that it was a bit of a walk from San Marco's in a quiet, almost residential area that felt more typically Venetian. The rooms were large and very comfortable. Thoroughly recommended.

03/05/2008 We spent three nights in this hotel. It's a really nice hotel with excellent service, nice rooms and an excellent breakfast. It was great! The hotel is located in a quiet area and isn't near the hustle and bustle of town. You can take the Vaporetto into town and it only takes a few minutes. If you want to go to the San Marco you will need to change at Ferrovia. This is easy to do. We bought travel cards for 31 euros each at the airport. We used it everyday so we could get around the small islands near Venice (Murano, Burano and Lido). We also used the ticket to explore Venice itself. I can recommend this card as it's extremely useful. Venice and the hotel were both absolutely amazing!

18/10/2007 We spent our honeymoon in this superb hotel and we got a wonderful room, the attic room, just beautiful. A nice walk takes you from the hotel to the San Marco Square and the Rialto Bridge, ect. There is lots to see within walking distance. Good breakfast, friendly staff that is willing to help you wherever possible. Three days is enough. Venice is not the type of city you go to for an extensive holiday, but three of four days is recommended, especially in this hotel.

06/09/2007 We just got back from three nights in Venice. Hotel is well located, 15 to 20 minutes on foot from the bus station. This is probably faster than by boat and then you have to walk a bit. The centre (San Marco Square) lies within walking distance and during the walk you get the feel of the city. The breakfast is well cared for, with fresh fruit, delicious rolls and of course the sweet cakes. You can enjoy your meal in the covered garden. Our backside room was very spacious and the bed was great (we have a waterbed at home). All in all, a very good hotel.
