Zoover is the largest Dutch travel website with more than 950.000 reviews of more than 230.000 accommodations worldwide. Since September 2007 Zoover is extending its business all over Europe. The headquarter of Zoover is based in Zeist, The Netherlands. On the website visitors can review accommodations and upload photos and videos.

Norwegian Site Managers M/F (Homework/Freelance)

For our Norwegian website we are looking for a Sitemanager that will perform Sitemanager work for 3 to 6 months. After that period the work will contain the same as the Translators function.

Responsibilities
The Site Manager is responsible for the content of the Zoover website.

-Translations and control
The Site Manager is responsible for translations of various (small) texts. Translations and adjustments will be done in the CMS (Content Management System). The Site Manager also checks the quality of the translators.

- Manage incoming e-mail
Replies and handling of incoming mail. You will reply questions and perform Customer support.

- Manage testimonials/pictures/video’s
Via our website consumers are able to add new testimonials, pictures and video’s. The Site Manager will check those items before they are published on our website.

- Marketing activities
Creating newsletter for the respective market. Making of a survey and editor activities.

Requirements
The ideal candidate is a native speaker of Norwegian. Good level of the English language is a must. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus. The candidate needs to have a strong connection to the internet media and must be familiar with all MS Office programs as well have the capability to work with different computer programs.

Salary
Depending on the market you are working for. The contract will be freelance. You will spend approx. up to 5 hours per week for site management. Payments take place on the monthly base. This payment is gross. It means that you are responsible for the tax refund.

Translators M/F (Homework/Freelance)

Zoover is translating her Dutch and English content into several European languages. Zoover is now looking for translators for the following languages; Norwegian, Romanian, Russian, Lithuanian, Ukrainian and Greek

Responsibilities

- Destination information
Short, tourist description of destinations of approximately 300 words.

- Accommodation reviews
Short reviews writen by consumers, average 60 words per reviews.

- Attractions
Short description per attractions (church, museum, district), average 60/70 words per item.

Requirements
The ideal candidate is a native speaker of at least one of the languages mentioned above. Good level of the English language is a must. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

Salary
It concerns a freelance/homework task. Most of the original texts are very simple. Depending on the market you will operating from, Zoover International pays for;

• from € 3,75 per item for the destination information,
  
• from € 0,60 per accommodation review and
  
• from € 0,60 per attraction.

Payments take place on a monthly base after completing the translations. The mentioned payment is gross, therefore you will be responsible for the tax refund.
