Reviews Hotel Grand Hotel de Vianden ***

The hotel was very clean, the food was excellent and a great variety, the room adequate, if a little small, especially the bathroom (shower only), beds were very comfortable if a little low.The staff were more than helpful and always cheery. In a lovely location in the town of Vianden. We stayed here as part of a organised coach holiday, the group being 33 in number with set menus of multiple choice, food always hot and of excellent quality, would definitely recommend staying here if in Luxenbourg

Overall the hotel is very nice. The staff were very pleasant. The public areas were very nice and cosy. My wife and I were on a coach tour from England so the hotel was our base for five days. We were on the 4th floor, and although our room was pleasant the bath had not been cleaned before we arrived. It took two days before it was cleaned, suggesting the room was not cleaned every day.

We arrived with a coachload of people very much later than expected due to fog and the Ferry Crossing to Calais, even so we were treated so very well on arrival tired and hungry and a full menu awaiting us on arrival, our luggage was delivered to our rooms without any problems by our amazing hosts. Our long weekend was a wonderful success and we'd go again and stay with this wonderful family run hotel.

As a group of 6 we visited this hotel via a coach company 4 day break.

Excellent service with very good food for the price, we would happily return. Rooms were comfortable, with a lift to get us to the 4th floor.

The staff were first class with the owners available at all times. Very accomodating. Two of us are keen on trying new beers, with 19 available it gave us plenty of choice.

Rooms were cleaned every day. For the money I don't think you could do much better.

Fantatic value and very good service indeed. Stayed here on a budget holiday coach trip. Have had some stinkers in the past but this was a comfortable well catered hotel with very attentive and observant staff. Food was ample and VERY good for a budget trip. Rooms were clean with good facilities - that WORKED! No hospitality tray ( I don't know if there would be one if your were not a "budget" customer but we had our own travel kettle.. I would be pleased to saty here again, and can recommend it for a holiday break as a good clean well catered hotel with exeptional, friendly service.
