29/10/2012 From the sea plane adventure getting there, to packing our bags on the way home we enjoyed every minute!
We had a beautiful beach villa, which looked out onto the perfect sea. The snorkeling was brilliant - we recommend making use of the guided tour of the house reef, which we did at the beginning of the holiday and then we made our own way after that.
The food was brilliant - always varied and plenty of choice of fresh dishes, salads and fruits. The staff were also fantastic - no request was too much, and they soon got to know you and your preferences, which was really a nice touch. Everyone (staff and other holiday makers) was very friendly, and we have some amazing memories.
It really was our perfect holiday!

17/06/2012 Don't know where to start. Our accommodation, the Bonthi Beach bungalows, were lovely and spacious. Were air conditioned, with an outdoor bathroom. if you walk out the door, you're on the beach!
The dive school was the reason we went- they were so helpful. Nothing was a problem, you put your name down on any trip you wanted to go on, and joined boat dives if you weren't sure. The marine life was astonishing, the highlight was the turtles, eels, triggerfish, sharks and rays.
Customer service? They did everything for you. If there was something you wanted to change, they changed it. Very smiley and happy to help.
However, things aren't cheap. A bottle of water is around 5$, and souvenirs can cost a lot more.
As I said below, the food was gorgeous, and I'm a veggie, and I found something nice to eat every single meal.

There was nothing I would complain about. If you want good diving, and a comfortable place for non divers too. Highly recommend it!

14/05/2008 Pendant 14 jours nous avons séjourné ici en avril 2008. Nous y étions avec notre fille qui a 18 mois. C'était vraiment superbe. L'ile est belle et propre, les plages sont blanches et l'eau est bleue. Nous n'avons pas fait de plongeon mais nous avons fait beaucoup de snorkling (et cela nous n'a pas du tout ennuyé). On a vu des raies des requins des tortues et des poissons dans des couleurs différentes. nous étions dans une 'beach'villa qui était belle qui était nettoyée deux fois par jours. Des serviettes et des serviettes d'éponges propres tous les jours. Bonne destination avec des (petits) enfants. Prenez un produit de protection solaire 50 et restez souvent à l'ombre. La nourriture est délicieuse, des buffets 3 x par jour orientés sur les Européens et beaucoup de choix. Vivement recommandé!

24/08/2007 We were here for a diving vacation november 2006. Large island, but in one word: Great!! We thought everything was fantastic, only the flight back took a long time ( nightflight with Emirates and everything went wrong, but okay, we forgot all about that once we looked at the pictures

31/07/2007 stay from 07-13 till 07-28-07. It rained several times , temperature was still good. Beautiful island with pearly white narrow beaches and clear water. Providers divingclub was well organised and there is a lot to see under water ( sharks, rays, manta's, turtles etc) we booked all-inclusive, which was perfect. Buffets 3 times a week ( enough choice and variation) drinks, per glass, whatever you wanted ( except for the cocktails) bungalow's are outdated, villa's are beautiful. Surfing is only for the experienced ones, if you are not , you have to take a very expensive course first. Not a lot to for kids and not/very bad accesible for people in a wheelchair , there is sand everywhere, even in the restaurant and bar, so leave your high-heeled shoes at home. There are a lot of German/English and Norwegian guests. The people that work on the island are mainly from Sri Lanka, they are very friendly and helpful and speak English
