In kappara itself there is not much to do; no restaurants or shops. There are two supermarkets, though. There is a bus, so it is easy to go somewhere. It is located rather high, but (after a dangerous crossing) Sliema is easy to reach on foot (15 min.). P
Kappara is centrally located between Sliema and Valleta. An advisable place for people who are looking for peace and quiet and want to taste the local culture. If you want to go out at night and like bars and discos, it is better to go to St. Julian's.
Looking at the other reviews, I think those guests might have been to another place. When we stayed here (July 2005) you could find some refreshment in the evening in the cool breeze or by jumping into the pool. It is true that it was too hot to go to the
