The hotel itself is fine, which when new would have been stunning. It has been sympathetically modernised over the years. The room was quite small, but very comfortable. There was a bath and separate large walk-in shower. One quirk we discovered was that the hair dryer would not work with the air conditioning running! Traffic noise was intrusive. Breakfast choice was very good, with a wide selection of fresh fruit, cold cuts, hot dishes and breads/pastries. There is a good evening menu and reasonably priced for hotel fare. There is a spa/gymnasium on the 9th floor. The pool is quite small, but adequate to relax in after a strenuous day's sightseeing. Downsides? The concierge tried to rip us off with the taxi fare from the airport. Fortunately it never turned up and we got an Authorised taxi for a 1/4 of the price. Yes, we would stay again.
