25/04/2009 I had the opportunity to visit this city during a trip to The Netherlands and I am not sorry of having done that.
It is a city full of live with a lot of foreign citizens. The tour with the boat on the canals was very interesting and it helped me see the wonderful architecture of the buildings. What is nice is that all the buildings fit in a whole that makes this city amazing from an architectural point of view.
Although I think it is a city that doesn't characterize the Dutch cities it is a city that worths visiting.
I will certainly go back and visit the other things that I didn't visit on this trip.
In a few words it is a crazy city, with nice people willing to help you but on top of all a place where you enjoy staying.

08/07/2008 I had a great time in Holland! If you wanna have fun and visit a lot of museums, than Holland is the place to go. My vacation was everything but relaxing, which is perfect because i was looking for fun.
Dutch people are nice and everybody helps the lost tourist :)) I strongly recommend the boat tours! Just make sure noone with young children is on board.

Anyway, it is a little bit crowdy to be living there, but for a crazy vacation, it's perfect :)

17/02/2008 Amsterdam is a clean and nice city where a lot of culture can be found. In comparison with (beautiful) London, Amsterdam is very cheap when it comes to food and drinks (tourist menus). Recommended: roundtrip on the canals, Rijksmuseum, Madame Tussauds…. e

23/01/2008 Pleasant city with a lot to do. It is busy. What we did:
Guided walk by 2 transvestites on the Wallen.
Boom Chicago: Had fun!
Pub A hole in the floor: Good place to party.
Roundtrip Amsterdam: always good but very nice.

20/01/2008 I loved Holland, and felt like a part of Amsterdam. I learned a lot, my child and I were comfortable socially and physically.

29/12/2007 The museam Ons Lieve Heer op Solder at the Oudezijds Vuurbugwal 40 is really worth visiting! It was very surprising, we didn't expect it too be that big.
