The arrival at our chalet was disappointing. They said that there would be a bedstead but this was a very filthyc amping bed (that was changed for a clean camping bed later), furthermore, the impression just wasn't fresh. Reported this at the reception and there was cleaner in a half an hour, she cleaned the bathroom and the floors again. Friendly staff. Too bad that it's far from the beach. We took our bikes and that was convenient or we would have had to walk quite a long distance every day. Furthermore, an indeal destination to undertake things from there.
It was a nice park. We fortunately had a parking space close to our cottage. When walking around at the park it appeared that this was not the case everywhere. The cottage was beautiful: good facilities, incl a dishwasher which worked without trouble. We found the beds a bit a soft to our liking. but well, everyone prefers something else… The beach was a bit further away then we had expected. from our cottage the distance was 2 kms. If you walk back and forth, you are already tired before you have even set one foot on the beach. Fortunately, we had taken along our bicycles. So we could make several splendid beach walks and put all our energy into that. We were there a midweek: in fact a bit too short for such a beautiful stay at our North Sea beach.
we stayed a week on this park and enjoyed it. The area, and especially the country cottage, was perfect and everything you need is present.
A must therefore; for both young and old people, also the camp-site looked cosy and is beautifully located.
certainly something to return sometime and with regard to the location you can also go to all the nice place around.
In the village itself there are nice shops, outdoor cafes and the beach, of course. In our opinion, it was a very good choice!
We spent last weekend in Egmond to our full satisfaction. The bungalow was perfectly decorated and spacious. Provided with all modern comforts. At the reception we got all possible collaboration to make my birthday cupboards as cosy as possible. The bicycles we rented were very good. But the one day we had guests there, it rained the entire day, but nobody can do anything about that. We had a very good time in our little full house.
