25/06/2009 We just loved the hotel. We highly recommend this hotel for frequent flyers. It is near the airport with shutter buses back & forth. We were amused of the breakfast with varieries of choices available. It is good value for the price.

25/06/2009 The location is good for catching early flights at the airport. Rooms are ok, breakfast is very good (starting 05.00 am). For tourists visiting Amsterdam the location is not so convienent unless you have a car.

25/06/2009 Despite being located along the highway, as the name suggests, the hotel looks almost luxurious in the inside. The room was nice and clean and moderately spacious. The breakfast buffet was beyond the expectations. The only negative remark that I have is about the staff, which was polite but quite unhelpful. I called the hotel about 12 hour in advance in order to ask information about the complimentary service bus from Schiphol Airport to the hotel and it turned out that the operator was not able to find my booking and as a consequence of this he was then irritatingly reticent in providing me the information about the bus schedule that I needed. Even once I reached the hotel it took them about 15 minutes (and 3 staff members) to find my booking on their system, despite the fact that I had a printed copy of my skoosh booking.

25/06/2009 Very well connected to Schiphol airport, even though 15 monutes away by shuttle bus every 40 minutes. Check out the park and fly options as Schiphol parking can be quite expensive for flights of less than a week.
Our room was quite average, but it still worked out to more than good value for money considering the vast inclusive breakfast buffet.
Amsterdam is about 40 minutes away if the shuttle bus and train connect perfectly, otherwise about an hour.

very unusual to have both bath and a shower and not many hotel give you that choice.
big screen tv with all channals avaliable and would definately stay there again when in amsterdam

25/06/2009 We stayed in this hotel on 30 Dec 07 for a one night stopover between flights.
The hotel was much better than I expected for the money. The room was clean and spacious with a large flat screen TV. The swimming pool was very good (the main reason we booked). The breakfast buffet was large and varied.
The hotel is set back beside a busy motorway. There is a free shuttle bus to Schipol Airport. From there you can get the train to Amsterdam Centre.

The hotel was excellent for our plans. We went into Amsterdam Centre for the evening, then in the morning we had a swim and breakfast before getting our flight. If we had the same flight times, we would book again.

However - on the down side. The shuttle bus runs every 20 mins. It then took us 17 minutes to get to to hotel (only 12 to return to the airport due to the one way system). So it can seem like a long time before you actually get to the hotel. You could be in Central Amsterdam in the same sort of time. Or if money is no object, the Sheraton is directly opposite the Schipol terminal - no bus or taxi required.
