14/06/2008 It was a very well-located three-room appartment, only not two bathrooms as promised. The largest disadvantage was the noise, this kept you awake whole night.
There were 2 stairs to the beach, one was broken by the bad weather.
I thought the people were friendly and the shop indeed had a good offer and delicious oranges.
We were there from 23 to 30 May 2008.

14/05/2008 * We had 11 wonderful days (25/4 - 5/5)
* very spacious (3 room) apartment
* wonderful pools
* fantastic playground
* nice bar (open the entire day: pizzas, pastas, rolls, tostis, chicken/hamburger with French fries, breakfast…)
* splendid location, also centrally located (by car the entire area of the Algarve can be explored in just over an hour)
* shop at the condo has a very good assortment
* Unfortunately, one and a half weeks before our arrival, the staircase to the beach had partially washed away, because of heavy weather in the Algarve, now it took 15 minutes on foot to get to the beach.
* shops 20 minutes on foot away.

10/09/2007 Poor breakfast. We booked half board, I can't recommend it. A nice block of apartments, a bit old. We had a great time, but we won't come back to this place though.

03/09/2007 A lovely view, be sure to book an apartment with seaview. We had an apartment on the ground floor. Nice, big and clean. Nice pool and gardens. The personnel was friendly, the food had a lot of variation. I recommend you to rend a car, if you want to see the surroundings. We had a lovely vacation with out 2 daughters.

03/09/2007 Really great! We had a lovely time there. Big apartments and a lovely view, if you book a room with seaview.

27/08/2007 We just returned from Alfagar, where we stayed for 11 days. This was the best vacation we ever had, with our 2 daughters.

07/09/2007 We had a great time. It wasn't too hot during the evening, so the air conditioning wasn't necessary. A large apartment with a beautiful garden on the ground floor. It's a 20 minute walk to the Praia de Oura beach and the Strip. You're able to walk to the Eulalia beach behind the hotel. I hate those people who place their towels on several reclining chairs to reserve them for family members. The kids are swimming in the pool most of the time, so they wont need a reclining chair! No water polo, soccer or other activities for youngsters.

02/09/2007 A lovely place. Lovely pools, kind personnel. We had a great time with our three kids. A clean and neat place. Ordinary breakfast. A lovely beach. A superb view. We had a great time.

01/06/2008 Once and never again.
Much too tourist and noisy. The appartment was located across the bar with very "live" music every evening. The elderly who come there for their rest certainly mustn't be here. The entire of Albufeira is a no-go for us from now on. The inlands are beautiful. The month of May was bad for Portugese notions and that is something we noticed. It seems necessary for travelling agencies to not place a couple of almost 150 years old in that environment. They could take care of they, right!!?!!
It was delightfully quiet at the sea side, so why don't do something like that! This is way too much!
They offered us another appartment, but that wasn't much better. We had quite a good time concerning the view and with the other apartment you were looking at some woods.
We really had to use our earplugs a lot!!!!
