14/06/2008 We had a great holiday, our stay at Casa Velha was excellent; nice and quiet and the beach and shops were at walking distance. We will definitely come back here.

09/09/2007 We just returned from the lovely Portugal. We really enjoyed ourselves and we would love to return here. Casa Velha was perfect, it was located at a quiet spot, but everything was in the neighbourhood! The beautiful beach was a 10 minutes walk and the Strip was also in close by. We used the bus to reach the old centre (1 Euro). It was also within walking distance. The apartments were very big and beautiful. Casa Velha was a pleasant apartment complex, not very big, the thing we really liked about it. We had a super vacation!!

14/08/2007 It was super. Really pretty apartments. The pool was very close. Our little daughter enjoyed herself there with all the available toys and the other kids. All guests were friendly and social. Very pro-children. We had a great time! We'll definitely return here.

13/08/2007 The cosiness was super and that made it a super vacation for the two of us! The children who were there at that moment, were cuties! The rest was super: the food, the atmosphere, the rooms were really beautiful and clean. We'll definitely return here.

12/06/2007 A super vacation!!! We stayed there for the 2nd time. This time we stayed in a 3 rooms apartment. Nice and quiet. This year in August we'll be going back again; already looking forward to it. We had a nice meal at the Japanese. We also recommend the restaurant Casa Velha next to the complex. The onionsoup was delicious and the steak too.

29/03/2007 This was the 2nd time we stayed at Casa Velha and we still liked it. We stayed at a 2 bedrooms apartment with an unique seaview/pinesview. We rented a car and saw a lot of the surroundings. The owner gave us a map and some information. The beds were perfect, nice boxsprings. The supermarket was a bit expensive, but there's also an Aldi next to the Makro and the Lidl in Albufeira, so that saved us a lot of money. The old centre was a bit renovated too; it looked clean and cool. Although the area around the pier it was still a mess; I think it will be finished in the summer. We had a great time there (14 days). We'll definately return here!!!

16/08/2007 We had a great time. A pool. Close to the beach. Some nice restaurants around. A bus stop in front of the hotel. We had to pay for the use of the tv, entertainment and deposit. There was nothing about this in the brochure. We received a compensation from our travel agency. There are some house rules too. You're not allowed to change the heater, so it's difficult to take a shower with a party of three. The owner just walked in a couple of times and removed the heater switch. You're not allowed to play around in the pool. He even charged us for a mattress for the reclining chairs (0,50 euro). Apart from this we had a great time.
