20/07/2012 Accommodation was very clean but the beds were very hard and the pillows lumpy,the food was excellent in the flavours restaurant and good value.however I will not be returning to the forte do vale as the place lacks holiday atmosphere and the swimming pool was the coldest pool that I have ever been in I think they must pump ice cold water into it .

09/08/2011 a 3 year old hotel/app, rooms very luxurious, very clean, excellent location between the strip (10 min walk) and the old town (20 min walk), everything is within walking distance. Beach on 10 min walk idd everything up/downhill. Hotel was not well sound-proofed and were promised free wifi in the lobby never worked. The hotel is so sleek and modern decorated that they are passed to the cosy, everything has a cold and chilly atmosphere, even the bar invites not to drink all the attempts with karaoke, etc.. but there is no chicken! For a friendly atmosphere you really need to go out and on the strip or the old town is that in abundance. Staff is helpful but not do more than is necessary and so Curt and business breakfast cheap causing little choice and cheap products. 1 x done and further every day fresh sandwiches etc. taken when a warm baker only 5 min walk and a super market only 3 min walk had a wonderful holiday with super weather!!

14/08/2011 Modern furnished apartment. Sufficient space and equipped with air conditioning in bedroom and living room. The kitchen is as regards equipment very complete with a.o. (vascular) washing machines. Crockery, however, minimal. We found cleaning fine, they exchanged every day, towels 1 x per week clean bedding. The flaw is lovely, allowing you to hear and suffer from noise management of chairs. Staff we found not unfriendly, but necessary and correct. The complex is centrally located between the old and new part of Albufeira. As a result, everything is within walking distance to do good. Beach and old town ca 10-15 minutes. Our son of 18 could be fine with friends on the Strip, also nearby. Eating out is well regulated, near complex you will find Koala Garden (Australian cuisine with enthusiastic owner) and Palacete (more Portuguese) In old town is Cabana Fresca a recommendable. We have had a relaxing holiday here and certainly recommend this accommodation.

08/08/2011 We were here with the 2 of us! What an incredibly nice apartment! And what a room! Also to sit on the balcony is delicious! What was very poor was the cleaning! ... especially the floor was very poorly cleaned!(kitchen you had yourself cleaning) employees behind the reception were indeed in the begin-total not friendly! After a week when they get to know us a bit we learned that they were also (a little) could laugh. Bartenders downstairs in the bar there in against were SUPER! What were those incredibly cosy and nice! Further delicious pool! and submit hand towel was not accepted! For young people is this hotel itself fine ... but make no noise because they accept that absolutely not! Location of this apartment I found just right. You sit a bit from everywhere but with the taxi you am so there! In short: Super apartment!!!!!!!!!!!!

13/07/2011 Forte do Vale is by far the most luxurious apartment complex where I have ever been. I have nice what Sun vacations behind the back (I am 32) but the luxury of the rooms in Forte do Vale is peerless. The apartments are spacious, equipped with both washing machine (you read it right) as a dishwasher, built-in speakers in the wall in bedroom + "living room", lists along the ceiling ... I know, it is going nowhere but gives the luxury. I read in some reviews something about an unfriendly reception. Everyone was super nice for us and we are very good helped. (also in e.g. the plans of a car trip) So good that we have bought a small gift when one of the ladies year was. : P The location of Forte do Vale I found personally perfect. It is located exactly between the Strip and the old city in ... where the old city is a little further. We only have 1 x packed the taxi that was EUR 4,-to the old city, everything. (and Yes to get anywhere you have to climb up and downhill)

09/07/2011 Size of apartment is top. Room 113, borders swimming pool (closed in by terrace). Ideal with baby (if you take baby monitor you can simply remain near swimming pool). Arrival hotel 08.30 hours, na lang by questions was our room cleaned first, we were allowed to 11.30. With small children is environment not advisable, hilly area, with buggy bad to do so by bad roads, bumps and pits. Paddling pool is ideal. But far too little parasols (a piece or 10), getting enough sun loungers. 08.00 to race for a cot + parasol. Parasol was just nicked if you was gone. Room 113 is above the bar where 3 or 4 times per week what to do, to 00.00. Karaoke you can literally means in bed (to 01.00 p.m.). The size the apartment is top! Wonderfully spacious with air conditioning. Room very bad cleaned: floor is not done. Recycle Bin only toilet roll + + changed occasionally bed formatted (not changed!). Not worth 4 stars. Grumpy staff
