We stayed in Fuseta at an apartment we found on formosavillage.com - self-catering is ideal for this village as there are so many fabulous restaurants and cafes you find yourself eating out alot - but also you can cook some of teh wonderful fish and fresh vegetables from the lovely fish market which is located in the village.
The beaches are sort of sand-spit beaches - and Fuseta has it's own island which is served by a ferry all day long for a lot of the year. Then there's Barrill beach justa few miles up teh road for a day out - but we found the actual beach in Fuseta perfect for us. And safe for kids.
The value for money in Fuseta is incredible - coffee and beer seem to me all round a Euro and dinner in the many restaurants in teh old square are all good value.
We didn't have a bad meal anywhere - but the best are La Plage and Crispims. Trily fabulous fish is to be found everywhere.
And we are going back next summer!
