10/06/2008 Hello everyone, I would like to report that in 3 weeks time we will leave for this apartment. We've stayed here in 2005 and again in 2007. The kids are now a bit older and we're really looking forward to it. We think it's a great, affordable place. Only last year the pool wasn't that clean but the rooms were. I also heard that other people had cockroaches but I never saw one in our apartment. I hope I don't meet with them now. I just hope that it will be like former years. 08/06/2008 We had a great holiday, the accommodation's staff was very friendly and helpful. The first 2 nights we stayed on the side where there was building activity but when the opportunity came we could move to the pool side and we really appreciated that. Every day there was housekeeping and fresh towels.

14/05/2008 Spacious rooms, all things are kept clean well. Lies at a quiet street, with shops, cash machines, cafes etc all within a couple of minutes on foot. Beautiful swimming pool, spacious balconies (if you have an apartment around the swimming pool). Choose one around swimming pool: nice view and no noise at night. A must!

27/08/2007 It was old, yet clean. The place had thins wall (noise from fridge, neigbours and from people outside) and you could hear the wind beneath your door. A not so very pro-children place: all tables in the aparment were made out of glass; not very convenient. The garden was beautiful, the pool was dirty and turbid; some tiles were even lose. Close to the Strip and many snack bars. There was even a cash dispenser in the neighbourhood. The beach Praia da Oura was about a 15 minutes walk. The last part of that road was steep. The beds were made daily, new towels daily. They didn't clean the floor that often. The toilet paper got refilled when it was needed. There was a nice kitchen. We didn't see any cockroaches, we did see some mosquitos though (they were almost invisible and didn't make any sound). Great place for youngsters or families with older kids.

22/08/2007 A great location. Good service. Lts of things were broken, like the fridge and the hot plate. It smelled rather funny inside the bathroom.

06/08/2007 We stayed at this place for the second time. I can recommend a layer of paint! A poor interior. No electric kettle and no microwave. I can also recommend a renovation for the pool. The water wasn't clean either. We'll be back though. We had a great time. Good cleaning. A place suitable for kids. Some poeple found cockroaches inside their apartments. We didn't see them though.

25/07/2007 We stayed at this place with a party of 8 for two weeks. We booked two apartments. We had a great time. Not a modern place, but clean. Kind personnel. They cleaned the place two times a week, made the beds, mopped the floor. Excellent! The pool is a bit old though. Some tiles were broken. The water isn't clean. A lot of noise during the night caused by party people. We had a great time and we might come back some day.

08/06/2007 A well kept apartment. Ordinary interior. They cleaned the place every day. Towels every other day. Kind personnel. Lots of palm trees and flowers around. We had a great time during our stay of two weeks. The time you'll have to wait to enter the apartment after you checked in can be quite annoying.

14/05/2007 We loved apartment Solar sao joao. Close to the shops and the beach. I loved this place.
