13/06/2008 The Villa Galé is hotel that is geared towards large groups. They serve a full English breakfast every morning and there wasn't any variety. The coffee wasn't fresh and the juice wasn't fresh either. The service in the restaurant scores a 0. You had to pile the plates so you could have enough room on your table. The rooms were clean and the service there was ok. There was a fire drill during our stay but it didn't quite work out and the other guests had to inform each other what was going on. It was a catastrophe and I would hate to think what would have happened if it had been real.

Elaborate breakfast and dinner. Near Lisbon.
Free bikes for hire. Within walking distance from the centre and the harbour.

04/09/2007 A nice apartment, especially when having a room with a view of the sea. Large apartments. They clean the place every day and will replace the filthy towels with clean ones. Nice breakfast. It ends at 10:30 o'clock, but there are still some warm buns around 10:15 o'clock. It's a 30 minute walk to the super market. Kind and helpful personnel at the reception. They gave us some wrong information though about the bus, so we had to take a cab.

28/08/2007 A nice hotel, close to the shore. Close to the Cascais centre. I didn't like the club in front of the apartments. A lovely view of the sea, a bit noisy. We can't recommend an evening flight. We had a great time. The personnel spoke English.

31/08/2007 We had a great time. Large rooms, very spacious. A nice pool, close to the Cascais centre. A nice promenade. Rooms with sea view and view of the park. I can recommend visiting this park. Kind personnel, they spoke English. A clean place.
