Bei schoenem Wetter empfiehlt sich die Tour zu diesem Freilichtmuseum,
es gibt viele kleine Holzhaeuser, wo man gut essen kann.

Kolomenskoje is een vroegere zomerresidentie van de Tsaren maar het houten paleis van weleer is niet meer aanwezig, toch valt er nog genoeg te ontdekken op dit landgoed dat nu een openluchtmuseum is, zo zijn er enkele prachtige kerken te bewonderen, een poortgebouw, verder is er het huisje van Tsaar Peter de Grote, dat hij bewoonde tijdens zijn verblijf op het noordelijke eiland Makov bij Archangelsk.
Grootste blikvanger van dit landgoed is de merkwaardige bouw van de kerk van Christus ten Hemelopneming.
