25/06/2009 The location is fantastic - right beside Calton Hill (the acropolis, etc), and a few minutes walk from the Royal Mile. Pretty much everything you could want to do in Edinburgh is within walking distance.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff, especially the breakfast servers, were friendly.

I would stay there again.

25/06/2009 The hotel was warm and friendly, a bit shabby chic. the only thing I found was that I could hear the drunks some distance away (outside) at 3-4.30am.

25/06/2009 Overall very good especially its location and the excellent staff. The only negative was the steep climb to room 14 which would not have been suitable for everyone.
