Reviews St. Andrews Aquarium

05/04/2013 Went there with my 5 year old and 2 year old. We loved looking at all the fish and they even had an octopus and sharks. My 5 year old loved the big tank by the entrance. The sealions were fun to watch and so were the meercats. My eldest got to hold a bearded dragon too.

A small aquarium but packed full of amazing creatures. Well worth a visit. Very educational and i would recommend visitors take their time to stop and look at the animals on show.

26/07/2011 The place is meant to be child friendly well you cant take a buggy in as too many steps etc etc, had to carry 11 month old and walk round with toddler with special needs really not ideal. No information on website stating not wheelchair or buggy friendly. In this day and age that is a disgrace a letter will be going to management.

17/08/2010 Nice but small aquarium which lets you get close to the animals. We even got to touch some starfish at the rockpool talk! The guy giving the talk was really enthusiastic and the kids loved it. Most of the place is under cover-apart from seals-so it was great for a rainy day.

We saw some small sharks a seal, and an octopus which was really cool. There was also a tank with baby sharks in it which was really interesting as we got to see inside a sahrk egg. I never even knew they laid eggs!

We ate in the restaurant which was very nice with superb food-not really what we expected as most tourist places the food is Ok but nothing special. They also had a bar so we got a beer sat on the beach which was a great way to end the visit.
