14/01/2013 Chalet was great equal to price but staff polite but not accommadating.
Walk back to chalet after supper was far and very dark.
Suppers and lunch had be be ordered in the morning.
Getting a pot of tea was and effort for the staff and they bring you a pot of boiling water only, at breakfast.
NO big 5 unless you are on special paid for Game Drive. website misleading.
Water dispensers in disrepair.

20/11/2011 No traffic sign to be seen in the entire game reserve, but our driver sticks to a safe rule: “Everything heavier than a thousand kilos gets the right of way”, Jasper smiles, pointing at two elephants. “But I make exceptions for all other animals too”. We find ourselves in the heart of nature, roughly three hours driving northwest of Johannesburg. Kololo and Welgevonden are a unique mixture of two overwhelming game reserves. In Kololo the mountain bike leads you to giraffes, zebras and other harmless animals. But hardly one hundred metres away, seperated from Kololo by a safe fence, Jasper hits the dirt road in a search for the Big Five. Need some rest, then plunge into the deep blue swimmingpool at the foot of the perfect restaurant. But do not miss the barbecue around the romantic campfire either. Kololo was advised to us by friends who work for an airline. It certainly took us to a higher level. But ten days was too short, actually. A good reason to go back again.
