The clothes in the city tend to be cheaper and strolling down the Rambla, which is lovely and wide, is something people are bound to enjoy. Lots of shops and offices are closed here between 14.00 and 16.00.

The best places to eat and drink in Barcelona are on and around the Rambla and the harbour. There are some really nice (tapas) restaurants in the area. People in Spain tend to eat a little later than people in the rest of Europe. Dinner here is served from 21.00 till midnight.
