29/06/2008 Hotel for families with small children. A lot of English, outdated small rooms. Everything is allowed in regard to the children. The staff isn't very friendly. The people that aren't english receive the worst rooms way in the back. The children's entertainment is very good. This hotel isn't worthy of the Golden-group. There's not a quiet place to be found in the whole hotel.

25/06/2008 I visited this hotel June 7th-14th 2008, very good price/quality. Clean rooms, very good cleaning daily. Well maintained garden and swimming pools. Food is very varied and tasty. Very impressive that the cooks could cook for this massive amount of people. Meat, fish, salad, french fries, potatoes and local dishes. A lot of English and massive. Located near the beach (just cross the street). The station of Pineda is a 10 minute walk away and from there you can catch the train to Barcelona. Ideal!

19/06/2008 We just got back from a 10 day vacation (09-06 till 19-06) in Taurus Parc Hotel. Very childfriendly, nice food, very friendly staff, nice room only the linen was outdated. Indeed a lot of English but don't let it bother you. They were quite friendly in our case, enough to do. In short, recommendable!!

16/06/2008 I spent a week in this hotel, June 7th - 14th 2008. Very good price/quality. It's massive though, about 800 rooms. Very clean rooms, cleaning daily and fresh towels. Very well maintained garden and swimming pool. Extensive breakfastbuffet and dinnerbuffet. Plenty of choice for everyone. Meat, fish, vegetarian, childrens buffet, salad etc. The cooks managed to make something tasty for all these people daily. Cross the road and you'll be at the beach. A lot of English though. The station of Pineda is a 10-15 minute walk away. From there you can get the train to Barcelona (1 hour travel). Take the exit Barcelona Playa and you will be at the start of the Rambla.

30/08/2007 A bit of an old hotel, but with a very good location. A good restaurant. Lovely terraces. The price-quality ratio was very good.

29/08/2007 We just came back. We've been staying at that place 3 times already. 6 years ago we stayed their with our oldest son. The entertainment was in all kind of languages. This year it was only in English. Too bad. The British got really annoying after a while. They were thinking that everything there was theirs. The room was very clean. The food was okay. The water of the pools was very freezing. The parking space was very good. The playground already closed at 8 in the evening. I don't know why they did that. Whenever it got fun for the kids, they closed it. Next year we'll be staying at a hotel where almost no British are staying. And a place with some Dutch entertainment!

02/09/2007 We stayed at this super hotel for 2 weeks. The food was delicious and had a lot of variation. The personnel was friendly. It was adapted to children. The rooms were good. Some rooms were cheaper than other rooms. That was because some rooms were too low to have a seaview. Or some rooms had only a partly view on the pool, because of some palms in front of your window. And some had no balcony at all. The floor at the pool could have been a bit cleaner though. And a fridge on the room would have been nice. The location was perfect though. Pineda de mar is really growing, qua tourism. In the evening you could have romantic strolls. There was a lot to do there. Visiting Barcelna is a must!! We had a fantastic vacation and we really recommend this hotel.
